Lucknow: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 46 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across the state. As per the official notification, IAS Atul Vats has been appointed District Magistrate of Hathras.
Previously, he served as the vice chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority.
Other notable DM transfers include
- IAS Pulkit Garg, currently the Vice-Chancellor of the Varanasi Development Authority, has been made the new DM, Chitrakoot.
- IAS Krittika Jyotsna, Special Secretary, State Tax Department, has been made District Magistrate, Basti.
- IAS Raja Ganpati R, previously DM of Siddharthnagar, will now serve as DM, Sitapur.
- IAS Abhishek Anand, outgoing DM of Sitapur, has been appointed Special Secretary, Excise Department.
- IAS Shivsharanappa GN, currently DM of Chitrakoot, has been transferred as DM, Siddharthnagar.
- IAS Amandeep Duli, DM Lalitpur, has been shifted as Additional Commissioner, MNREGA, and replaced by IAS Satya Prakash, currently Municipal Commissioner, Jhansi.
Other key administrative appointments include
- IAS Rajesh Kumar has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Mirzapur.
- IAS Dr. Rupesh Kumar, currently Managing Director (MD), Uttar Pradesh State Power Generation Corporation, has been made Divisional Commissioner, Saharanpur.
- IAS Atal Kumar Rai, presently Divisional Commissioner, Saharanpur, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Home Department.
- IAS Bhanu Chandra Goswami, currently Relief Commissioner, has been made Divisional Commissioner, Meerut.
- IAS Mayur Maheshwari, currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority, has been appointed as MD, Uttar Pradesh State Power Generation Corporation.
- IAS Vijay Kiran Anand, CEO, Invest UP, will also hold the additional charge of CEO, Industrial Development Authority, and head of the NRI Cell.
