Amaravati: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed major agreements with leading Taiwanese companies, marking a significant push toward industrial expansion and sustainable manufacturing in the state.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the collaborations on social media, highlighting them as key milestones under the state’s Swarna Andhra Vision @ 2047, aimed at making Andhra Pradesh a major contributor to India’s Viksit Bharat mission.
As part of the agreements, Allegiance Group will develop a large-scale industrial park across 470 acres in Kuppam with a total investment of Rs 400 crore. The project is expected to create around 50,000 direct and indirect jobs, strengthening local employment and infrastructure.
In another major development, eJoule India JV – a partnership between eJoule Inc. (USA), Creative Sensor Inc. (Taiwan), and Senaste Technologies LLP (India) – will set up India’s first 23 GWh Precursor-Free Single-Crystal Cathode Active Material and Solid-State Electrolyte manufacturing facility at Orvakal, Kurnool. The project involves an investment of Rs 18,000 crore and is projected to generate around 2,000 direct jobs.
The upcoming facility represents a major leap in India’s advanced battery and clean energy materials ecosystem, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a hub for next-generation technology manufacturing.
CM Naidu said the agreements reflect the state’s growing role in global supply chains and its focus on advanced manufacturing, sustainable growth, and employment generation. “These MoUs reflect our commitment to advanced manufacturing and sustainable growth under the Swarna Andhra Vision @ 2047, making the state a key driver in India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat,” he stated.
