New Delhi: The IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA), has announced a global Call for Abstracts for an upcoming Casebook on the Real-World Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Energy.
The initiative aims to highlight how AI technologies are transforming the global energy landscape by driving efficiency, sustainability and innovation. Through this collaboration, IndiaAI and IEA seek to leverage IEA’s global expertise and analytical framework while supporting India’s vision for responsible and inclusive AI adoption aligned with the sustainable energy goals of the Global South.
The casebook, jointly developed by IndiaAI and IEA, will provide a global platform for innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs to showcase real-world AI-driven energy solutions before policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers. It will serve as a knowledge-sharing repository, fostering cross-country and cross-sectoral collaboration in line with the IndiaAI Mission and India’s roadmap for a sustainable energy future.
Researchers, innovators and practitioners with proven, scalable AI applications in the energy sector are invited to submit 200-word abstracts by 21 November. Shortlisted entries will be invited to contribute full chapters of 800 words.
The Casebook on AI in Energy is scheduled to be launched during the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, to be held in New Delhi on 19-20 February 2026.
