New Delhi: India will host the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi from 15 to 20 February, positioning itself at the centre of global discussions on the future and real-world deployment of artificial intelligence. The summit will take place at Bharat Mandapam and is expected to see participation from over 100 countries and global tech leaders.
Announcing the details, S Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit’s expo and is also expected to address a CEO Round Table involving global industry leaders and policymakers.
Heads of government from 15 to 20 countries, including France, are likely to attend.
Several prominent global leaders have confirmed participation, including Bill Gates, Dennis Hassabis (DeepMind), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Shantanu Narayen (Adobe), Mark Benioff (Salesforce), Cristiano Amon (Qualcomm) and Raj Subramaniam (FedEx).
The summit has already received 15,500 registrations from 136 countries, with strong representation from the Global South.
Focused on practical AI applications, the event will centre on solutions for sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, governance and manufacturing, guided by the principles of People, Planet and Progress.
