Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a significant step in clean mobility by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth Rs. 1,100 crore with the TWI Group of Companies at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos.Â
The investment will establish India’s first Hybrid EV Motorcycles Manufacturing Plant in the state.
The project is expected to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem, create high-quality employment opportunities, facilitate technology transfer, and accelerate the adoption of greener transportation solutions. The move further positions Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for future-ready investments in advanced manufacturing and clean technology.
