Chhattisgarh Govt Transfers 43 IAS Officers; IAS Subodh Kumar Singh Made Principal Secretary, Energy Dept

Raipur, May 7 (APAC Media): In a large-scale administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 43 IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Subodh Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Energy Department.

He has also been given charge as the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Power Company.

Singh will continue to serve in his present roles as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL)

IAS Richa Sharma has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
IAS Manoj Kumar Pingua has been given charge as the ACS, Forest and Climate Change Department.
IAS Niharika Barik has been made the Principal Secretary of the Home and Jails Department.
IAS Shahla Nigar has been assigned the additional responsibility of Principal Secretary, Social Welfare, along with Women and Child Development Department.
IAS Mohammad Kaiser Abdulhaq, currently Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, has now been given additional charge as the Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.
IAS Dr. Rohit Yadav, presently Principal Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Department, has been transferred and appointed as the Secretary of the Finance Department.
IAS Kamalpreet Singh has been made the Secretary of the School Education Department.
