New Delhi, May 26 (APAC Media): In an effort to boost investors’ confidence in the semiconductor ecosystem of India, the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched an online portal today.
The portal titled ‘Investors Support’ has been developed to provide information relating to government schemes, policies, and approved projects under the Semicon India Programme. It will not only help in addressing the investors’ queries but also provide them with information about regulatory requirements in case they are considering investing in India.
The portal will enable investors to register their grievances/concerns, which will be resolved by the officials of ISM with the support of nodal officers of concerned ministries, departments, organisations, state governments, approved project companies, and international and national trade bodies/associations.

During the launch of the portal, Amitesh Kumar Sinha, CEO, ISM, emphasised the importance of handholding and facilitation of foreign investors and urged representatives of all concerned stakeholders to proactively discharge their respective roles in addressing concerns of the investors for further strengthening the semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem in the country.
Relevant stakeholders will get a secure, role-based, single-window digital interface for streamlined coordination and time-bound resolution of concerns.
The launch of the portal marks another significant step in strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem and positioning the country as a global hub for chip manufacturing and design. The move aligns with the government’s broader vision of building a resilient and self-reliant semiconductor value chain under the Semicon India Programme.
