Lucknow, July 16 (APAC Media): The Uttar Pradesh government has launched two digital platforms, Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi.
These are meant to strengthen the state’s skill development ecosystem and improve access to training and employment opportunities for youth.
The portals were launched during the state level celebration of World Youth Skills Day 2026 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal inaugurated the platforms.
Kaushal Setu to Digitise Training Partner Registration
The Kaushal Setu portal will streamline the registration and empanelment of training partners under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM).
It offers online registration, paperless documentation and a transparent approval process. The system is expected to reduce paperwork and eliminate repeated visits to government offices.
Kaushal Sarathi to Help Youth Access Skill Training
The Kaushal Sarathi portal has been designed for students and job seekers. It provides details of training centres, courses and training partners across the state.
A digital map feature will help users locate nearby training centres and choose suitable skill programmes with ease.
MoUs Signed for AI, Robotics and Textile Skills
The UPSDM also signed MoUs with KLK Private Limited and Winsome Textile Industries Limited.
The partnerships will support training and employment opportunities in emerging sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics and advanced textile technology, helping align youth skills with industry demand.
Focus on a Digital, Industry-Linked Skill Ecosystem
Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal also released the coffee table book, ‘Skilling the Future Uttar Pradesh: Journey from Training to Transformation’.
He said the government’s focus is on linking skill development with technology, industry and employment.
The twin portals are expected to improve transparency, expand access to training and create a more efficient, digital skill development ecosystem across Uttar Pradesh.
