New Delhi, August 19(APAC Media): Skoda has unveiled the updated Slavia in India. Bookings for the 2026 facelift are now open, while prices will be announced in October.
The facelift brings design changes, new cabin features and a major transmission update. The biggest change is the addition of a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The existing 6-speed manual remains available, while the 1.5-litre TSI continues with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG options.
Skoda Slavia Facelift Design And Features
The 2026 Skoda Slavia gets a revised front grille, new LED headlamps with redesigned daytime running lights and sharper-looking tail lamps. Sequential turn indicators and new dual-tone alloy wheels are also part of the update.
Skoda has added Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige to the colour options. Inside, the sedan gets a two-tone cabin and a 2-spoke steering wheel. The updated equipment list includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
Skoda Slavia 2026 Engine And Gearbox
The facelift continues with the existing turbo-petrol engine range. The 1.0-litre TSI now gets the new 8-speed automatic alongside the 6-speed manual. The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI continues with the 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG.
The Slavia continues to compete with the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. With bookings already open, the key detail left is the price, which Skoda is expected to announce in October.
