New Delhi, August 20(APAC Media): Garuda Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia-based Timed Automation Solutions (TAS) to explore autonomous drone technology and enterprise aerial operations.
Focus On Autonomous Drone Technology
The partnership will focus on technical cooperation, knowledge sharing and possible business opportunities in the autonomous drone market. The companies will also evaluate joint development, product distribution and participation in projects in India and international markets.
Garuda Aerospace brings experience in drone manufacturing and drone-based solutions, while TAS provides technology for autonomous aerial operations. Its platform includes drone-in-a-box systems, fleet and site management, AI-based image analysis and enterprise software integrations.
The companies will explore how these capabilities can be combined for applications such as agriculture, infrastructure inspection and remote operations.
Pilot Projects Planned In Australia
Garuda Aerospace and TAS also plan to explore pilot deployments in Australia and New Zealand. The projects will help test autonomous drone operations and assess their use in different enterprise environments.
For Garuda Aerospace, the agreement is part of its efforts to expand into international markets through technology and business partnerships. The company has been working on expanding its drone manufacturing and technology capabilities as demand for unmanned aerial systems grows.
The MoU does not confirm a commercial rollout. The immediate focus is on evaluating potential applications, technology integration and pilot projects in Australia and New Zealand.
