New Delhi, Sep 23(APAC Media): Vivo will launch the V80 in India on October 6.
The company has confirmed the India launch date of the Vivo V80 5G, following its international debut. The smartphone will enter the Indian market with a focus on camera capabilities, display specifications and battery capacity. Vivo is expected to announce the phone’s India price and sale details at the launch event.
Vivo V80 5G Specifications
The Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, while the bezels measure 1.25mm.
The smartphone will feature a ZEISS-backed camera setup. It includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. A 50MP ZEISS front camera will handle selfies and video calls.
The camera system will support 4K video recording at 60fps, along with ZEISS portrait modes and 4K cinematic video recording.
Vivo V80 Battery And Software
The Vivo V80 will pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W FlashCharge. The battery capacity is one of the key hardware changes in the new V-series smartphone.
The phone is also expected to run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. Vivo has listed Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black as the colour options for the device.
Vivo has not yet revealed the India price of the V80. The company is expected to announce pricing, storage variants and availability details during the October 6 launch.
