New Delhi, Sep 22(APAC Media): BUSY Infotech has appointed Gyanendra Acharya as Vice President, People and Culture, adding a new senior HR leader as the accounting software company expands its AI and SaaS operations.
Gyanendra Acharya Joins BUSY
Acharya will lead the company’s HR strategy, with a focus on building scalable people processes, leadership development and data-driven HR operations. He will also work on workforce planning and aligning teams with BUSY’s AI-focused SaaS strategy.
The appointment comes after BUSY launched BUSY Magic, its next-generation accounting software. The platform includes features such as AI-powered voucher scanning, AI-based bank reconciliation and GST Assistant.
BUSY Expands HR Strategy
Acharya has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, organisational development and talent management. Before joining BUSY, he was Co-Founder of VeggieKart Marketing Pvt. Ltd. He has also held HR and leadership roles at Hughes Systique Corporation, RBS India Development Centre, Convergys India and TechBooks.
His experience includes HR digitisation, workforce planning, performance management and post-acquisition talent integration. At BUSY, his role will also cover the people and culture aspects of potential business acquisitions.
BUSY’s AI And SaaS Plans
BUSY develops accounting, billing, GST compliance and inventory management software for businesses. The company is now increasing its focus on AI-led products as demand for digital accounting and compliance tools grows among Indian MSMEs.
With the new appointment, BUSY is strengthening its HR function alongside its technology and business expansion plans.
