Gold and silver prices are influenced by global monetary policy, currency movements, geopolitical developments, inflation expectations and investment demand. Changes in international prices can also affect domestic bullion rates.
Retail prices offered by jewellers may differ from the indicative rates because of factors such as GST, making charges, local taxes and dealer margins.
The rates are subject to change during the trading session as domestic and international markets respond to new economic data and other developments.
