New Delhi, September 22 (APAC Media): Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIM Udaipur to promote research, training and capacity building in urban infrastructure development.
The partnership aims to strengthen knowledge, professional skills and institutional capabilities while supporting sustainable urban growth.
HUDCO, IIM Udaipur Partner on Urban Development
The MoU was signed in the presence of Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director, HUDCO, and Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur.
The collaboration combines HUDCO’s experience in housing and urban infrastructure with IIM Udaipur’s expertise in management education, research and executive learning.
The partnership will focus on:
- Urban infrastructure research and knowledge development
- Training and professional development
- Capacity-building programmes
- Knowledge and skill enhancement
- Sharing of institutional expertise
- Strengthening capabilities in sustainable urban development
MoU to Support Knowledge Sharing
The agreement was formally signed by Sudhir Bhatnagar, Executive Director (Projects), RC JRO, HUDCO, and Prof. N. Vishwanathan, Chairperson, Executive Education, IIM Udaipur.
The two institutions will work together on research and training initiatives aimed at developing relevant expertise and improving professional capabilities in the urban development sector.
The collaboration will also provide opportunities for knowledge sharing and institutional learning as cities face evolving infrastructure and development requirements.
Focus on Sustainable Urban Growth
The MoU places emphasis on building stronger institutional capabilities to support sustainable approaches to urban infrastructure development.
Through joint research, training and professional development initiatives, HUDCO and IIM Udaipur aim to contribute to knowledge and skill development in the urban infrastructure sector.
