Bhopal : As corona cases are picking up in some districts, Madhya Pradesh government has decided to enforce complete lockdown on Sundays.

Blaming spike in corona cases in bordering districts, state’s health minister Narottam Mishra told reporters on Wednesday that ‘ we decided for a complete lockdown on Sundays across Madhya Pradesh. A public advisory would be issued in this regard on Thursday.’
The public advisory will include guidelines related to compulsory use of face masks, availability of hand sanitisers at workplaces, among others, according to the minister.
Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday registered the highest single-day spike of 409 new COVID-19 cases including 115 from Morena, taking the infection count to 16,036.
