New Delhi: Meg O’Leary has been named the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) by Tenable, the Exposure Management company.
With over 20 years of extensive experience in marketing and communications, O’Leary is widely recognised as a seasoned storyteller who has crafted powerful brand identities for some of the most esteemed names in the cybersecurity industry.
Most recently, she held the role of CMO at Cybereason, where she and her team successfully positioned the company as a leader in endpoint security. Prior to this, she served as the CMO at Capsule8, a pioneering company in cloud workload protection that was later acquired by Sophos.
O’Leary is also known for co-founding InkHouse Marketing+Media, a public relations agency (now part of Berlin-Rosen), where she provided valuable guidance on numerous company and product launches, initial public offerings (IPOs), and successful exits.
In her new position at Tenable, O’Leary will lead the company’s global marketing organisation. Her responsibilities will consist of enhancing brand recognition, refining messaging and positioning, shaping go-to-market strategies, and driving demand generation for the entire platform.
Amit Yoran, chairman and chief executive officer of Tenable said, “Meg is joining Tenable at a pivotal moment where our vision and solutions for unified and proactive cybersecurity align with market needs. Meg has a track record of building bold narratives which is critical as we continue to differentiate our capabilities.”
O’Leary said, “Customers are looking for a partner such as Tenable – one that understands the complexity of their IT infrastructure and cybersecurity needs today and where we’re likely to be in a decade. This company is changing the way organisations reduce their risk and I am eager to play a part in this important market shift.”
