Maharashtra transfers 5 IAS officers, Asheesh Sharma IAS appointed GST Commissioner

Mumbai: The Maharashtra state government has reshuffled the postings of five IAS officers. The changes are as follows:

• Asheesh Sharma IAS, who previously served as the principal secretary to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, has been appointed as the commissioner of state tax (GST) in Mumbai.
• Pravin Puri IAS, who held the position of joint secretary in the water supply and sanitation department, has now been designated as the commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in Pune.
• Deepak Taware IAS, who served as the CMD of the Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation in Pune, has been reassigned as the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme commissioner.
• Vikas Pansare IAS, the former head of the Ahmednagar district caste verification panel, has been appointed as the additional divisional commissioner of Konkan Division.
• Aman Mittal IAS, previously the Managing Director of Maharashtra Petrochemicals Corporation, has taken on the role of deputy secretary in the water supply and sanitation department.
