New Delhi: Tech Mahindra recently announced the addition of Peeyush Dubey, an IT services industry veteran, in the role of Chief Marketing Officer at the company.
This announcement was made by Dubey himself on X (formerly Twitter) on November 14, following the disclosure by Tech Mahindra’s CEO designate, Mohit Joshi, regarding the appointment of a new CMO as part of the ongoing internal restructuring efforts.
Before joining Tech Mahindra, Dubey served as the CMO at both Mindtree and LTI until 2022, at which point he transitioned to TheMathCompany, an AI analytics solutions firm. With close to three decades of experience in the IT services sector, he boasts an extensive background, including over a decade as the global marketing head at Infosys.
It’s noteworthy that Dubey is one of several former colleagues and Infosys leaders brought on board by Mohit Joshi, who himself joined Tech Mahindra after a distinguished tenure with Infosys. Joshi had previously appointed Atul Soneja, another Infosys veteran, as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Tech Mahindra.
Joshi officially announced Tech Mahindra’s internal restructuring on October 26, during the company’s Q2FY24 earnings conference, shifting from Tech Mahindra’s previous geography-focused structure to a vertical-wise focus for delivery.
This strategic realignment led to the creation of six distinct business units: Americas Communication, Americas Technology Media, Americas Diversified, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan), and India.
The implementation of this restructuring, scheduled for January 1, will result in significant leadership changes. As part of this transformation, Harshvendra Soin, the current Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Head of Marketing, will relocate to Australia to spearhead the consolidated Asia Pacific and Japan business.
