8 IAS and 11 PCS officers transferred in Punjab; IAS Aditya Uppal appointed Jalandhar Municipal Commissioner

Ludhiana: The Punjab government recently transferred eight IAS and 11 Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officers with immediate effect.

The names and the postings of the IAS officers are as follows:

• IAS officer Chander Gaind (2004-batch) has been posted as Secretary, Water Resources, and Secretary, Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority, with the additional charge of Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
• IAS Aditya Uppal (2015-batch) has been appointed as the Commissioner, Jalandhar Municipal Corporation against a vacant post.
• IAS officer Sandeep Rishi (2015-batch) will take charge as the Commissioner of MC, Ludhiana, and Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority.
• IAS officer Sagar Setia (2017-batch) has been posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADS) of Rural Development, SBS Nagar.
• IAS officer Rahul (2017-batch) has been appointed the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.
• IAS officer Ravinder Singh (2017-batch) will take charge as MD, Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC), Patiala.
• IAS officer Akash Bansal (2019-batch) is the ADC (General), Sangrur, replacing IAS officer Anmol Singh Dhaliwal (2012-batch), who will now serve as the ADC (Rural Development), Ludhiana.
• IAS officer Nirmal Ouesppachan (2019-batch) has been appointed as the new ADC (General), Mansa.

The names and the postings of the PCS officers are as follows:

• PCS officer Sukhjeet Pal Singh has been posted as the Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare and in addition Special Secretary, Special Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Sources Welfare.
• PCS officer Sukhpreet Singh Sidhu (2011-batch) has been posted as the Joint Secretary, Home Affairs and Justice.
• PCS officer Anmol Singh Dhaliwal has been appointed the ADC (Rural Development), Ludhiana.
• PCS officer Harjot Singh will be taking charge as Joint Director, Local Government.
• PCS officer Jyoti Bala is the new Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur.
• PCS officer Khushdil SIngh (2016) has been appointed Estate Officer (Housing), Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar.
• PCS officer Naman Market (2016-batch) is posted as the Regional Transport Officer, Patiala.
• PCS officer Kuldeep Bawa (2016-batch) will carry his duties as the Regional Transport Officer of Sangrur.
• PCS officer Jagnoor Singh Grewal (2020 batch), currently serving as the Deputy Principal Secretary to the CM, has been given the additional charge of Additional Managing Director (AMD), Punjab Agro Industries Corporation.
• PCS officer Aditya Gupta (2023-batch) has been appointed the Regional Transport Officer of Jalandhar.
• PCS officer Sukhpinder Kaur (2023-batch) has been appointed Deputy Secretary (Vigilance).
