Bhopal: IAS Raghvendra K Singh, of the 1997 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the newly sworn-in Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav. Singh has also been given the additional charge as the Principal Secretary of Public Service Management.
Prior to his appointment to this post, Singh was serving as the Principal Secretary of the Mining Department and had also served as the Principal Secretary of Public Relations in the government of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
According to the order, Singh will be replacing IAS officer Manish Rastogi. Rastogi, an IAS officer of the 1994 batch, was the Principal Secretary of former CM Chouhan, and has now been posted as the Principal Secretary in the state government.
Dr. Mohan Yadav took the oath of office as the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal.
