New Delhi: Larsen and Toubro (L&T) recently announced that it has successfully secured a project to establish a solar power plant in Dubai. The renewable engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) division of L&T’s power transmission and distribution business clinched the order.
The initiative encompasses the development of a “solar photovoltaic plant in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates,” as disclosed in the company’s statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
T Madhava Das, Whole-Time Director and Senior Executive Vice President (Utilities) at L&T, expressed the company’s dedication to introducing innovative renewable energy solutions and leveraging project management expertise to accelerate the energy transition in the region. This aligns with Dubai’s commitment to sustainable practices while pursuing economic development.
L&T, a prominent Indian multinational with a valuation of $23 billion, specialises in EPC projects, advanced manufacturing, and services.
