Jaipur: The Government of Rajasthan recently announced the transfer of 72 IAS officers and 121 Rajasthan Administrative Service officers. The transfer orders were issued by the Department of Personnel (DoP). The order saw Churu Collector, IAS officer Sidharth Sihag, being posted as the Joint Secretary to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
Following are some other key appointments:
- IAS officer Kanishk Kataria to serve as Joint Secretary to the Government, Department of Personnel.
- IAS officer Rajendra Singh Shekhawat to serve as Secretary, Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission.
- IAS officer Rajendra Vijay has been appointed Special Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
- IAS officer Narendra Gupta to serve as Special Secretary to Government, Revenue Department.
- IAS officer Bachanesh Kumar Agrawal has been appointed Joint Secretary To Government, P.H.E.D., and Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.
- IAS officer Vishwa Mohan Sharma appointed Commissioner, Mid-Day Meal.
- IAS officer Om Prakash Bunkar posted as Commissioner, Women Empowerment Department and Panchayati Raj (Women Empowerment) Department.
- IAS officer Prakash Chandra Sharma posted as Executive Director, Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage And Infrastructure Corporation Limited (RUDSICO) And Project Director, Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP).
- IAS officer Rajendra Bhatt, currently posted as the Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Nigam Limited, Udaipur.
- IAS officer Kanhaiya Lal Swami, who has been serving as the Commissioner of Agriculture And Panchayati Raj (Agriculture) Department, was given additional charge as the Managing Director, Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation.
- IAS officer Pragya Kewalramani, who is posted as the Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, Udaipur, has been given additional charge as the Commissioner, T.A.D., Udaipur.
The recent order also included change of District Collectors in various districts, including Balotra, Banswara, Baran, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jodhpur, Pali, Alwar, Jaisalmer, Jhalawar, Kota, Dungarpur, Anupgarh, Chittorgarh, Behror, Sawaimadhopur, Dausa, Sirohi, Bhilwara, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Rajsamand, Sikar, Gangapur city, Pratapgarh, Deedwana-Kuchaman, Tonk, Phalodi, Salumbar, Bundi, Beawar. 121 RAS officers have also been transferred into new postings, including several additional collectors and sub-divisional officers.
Collectors of new districts, such as Kekri, Balotra, Phalodi, Anupgarh, Behror, Didwana-Kuchaman, Gangapur City, Salumber, and Beawar, have also changed.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma retained eight departments, including the Home Department, Excise Department, and Anti Corruption Bureau, while assigning portfolios to the ministers newly inducted into the cabinet last month.
