New Delhi: Withings, a French health tech company known for its innovative connected smart scale, has started its operations in India, bringing advanced health monitoring devices to the market. Withings is recognised for its role in developing clinically proven, connected health solutions.
The Body Scan smart scale is at the lead of Withings’ entry into the Indian market. It measures weight and also provides in-depth body composition analysis by assessing metrics like muscle mass and visceral fat levels. Additionally, it can conduct a 6-lead electrocardiogram to detect potential heart issues and assess nerve health through bioelectrical impedance analysis.
Withings is also offering the ScanWatch2 hybrid smartwatch in India. It blends fitness and sleep tracking features with medical-grade sensors, allowing it to conduct electrocardiogram and blood oxygen readings, as well as track skin temperature changes. The ScanWatch Light provides similar advanced health sensors in a stylish analogue watch design.
Eric Carreel, President and founder of Withings, said, “What makes us unique is our capacity to capture real-life data, as seamlessly as it should. There’s no other smartwatch on the market that can track clinical biomarkers like we do with a 30-day battery life. With the launch of our products and services in India, we are thrilled to provide those unique tools and insights to empower millions of individuals to lead healthier lives.”
