Jaipur: IAS officer Debasish Prusty has been appointed Secretary of Finance (Budget), Rajasthan. He is a 2000 batch officer from the Rajasthan cadre. Before this role, he was on deputation tenure till March 31, 2024, serving as the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) at the Embassy of India in Brussels.
Prusty replaces IAS Naresh Thakral. He has also served as the Secretary to the Governor of Rajasthan.
