Bengaluru: Sanjeev Jain has been appointed as Wipro’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). This comes after former COO Amit Choudhary resigned on Friday. Jain will report directly to CEO Srini Pallia, and remain a member of Wipro’s Executive Committee.
Sanjeev Jain joined Wipro in 2023. He previously held senior roles at Cognizant, GE, IBM, and Kyndryl Holdings. As the COO, Jain will focus on systematising operations, enhancing client-centric delivery, and driving operational excellence.
CEO Pallia praised Jain’s impact, especially in AI training and career development strategies, noting that more than 225,000 employees have been trained in AI principles under his leadership.
Choudhary will stay with Wipro until the end of May to ensure a smooth transition.
