New Delhi: With effect from June 10th, 2024, Sanjay Sharma has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Air India. He will report to Campbell Wilson, the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). After three decades of service to the airline, Vinod Hejmadi is being replaced.
Sharma has over thirty years of expertise as well and is acquainted with the real estate, investment banking, and corporate finance industries. He served as Tata Projects Limited’s CFO before this position.
Sharma has also held positions at Deutsche Bank Group as Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets and as CFO of Tata Realty Infrastructure Limited. He has worked with Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific and DSP Merrill Lynch Limited in Mumbai in several roles.
