New Delhi: Swapnendu Kumar Panda has been recommended for the post of Director (Planning & Projects) at NLC India Limited by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). He is currently posted as the Chief General Manager (Group Head, Bikaner) at NTPC Limited.
Panda was one of the eight candidates competing for the post during the PESB panel’s selection meeting on May 30. There were five candidates from NLC India Limited and one each from Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited, NTPC Limited, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).
Upon joining, Panda will become the Board of Directors and report to the Chairman and Managing Director directly. He will be responsible for the planning of manpower, equipment, and systems, programming and scheduling, formulating mining and power projects, overseeing expansion schemes, and coordinating project monitoring.
