Mumbai: Solex Energy has partnered with the State Bank of India (SBI) to make financing easier for businesses looking to adopt solar energy. Under SBI’s Surya Shakti Solar Finance Scheme, companies can now apply for loans of up to Rs 10 crore to fund solar projects across India.
This collaboration means businesses will have more streamlined access to solar financing. Solex Energy will handle project planning, from site assessments and designs to regulatory approvals, while SBI will provide a digital platform to simplify the loan application process.
Chetan Shah, CMD of Solex Energy, highlighted that this move aligns with India’s renewable energy goals, aiming to make solar more accessible and affordable. With both public and private lenders supporting solar initiatives, this partnership is a step forward for businesses seeking sustainable energy options.
This collaboration is part of a broader trend, as financial institutions play a growing role in India’s shift towards renewable energy, encouraging more companies to consider solar solutions for their energy needs.
