Mumbai: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has acquired a 21% stake in cloud provider E2E Networks to boost AI adoption across Indian industries. This strategic partnership combines E2E’s cloud and AI platforms with L&T’s experience in data center management, aiming to support digital transformation for startups and enterprises.
The alliance focuses on developing production-ready AI tools that can adapt and evolve, using Cloud GPUs to enhance accelerated computing in India. This shift aligns with a “Make in India” approach, where both companies aim to build cloud solutions for the Indian market.
Tarun Dua, E2E Networks’ Chairman, highlighted the collaboration as a step towards local hyperscaler platforms. L&T’s cloud business chief, Seema Ambastha, noted that the partnership will create a scalable, secure cloud environment tailored to Indian businesses, supporting their AI and digital transformation goals.
This move signals India’s growing capacity in AI-driven cloud solutions, with an emphasis on cost-effective growth and innovation.
