Bengaluru: PUMA India has joined hands with Accenture to enhance its supply chain network using digital twin technology. The partnership aims to make PUMA’s logistics faster and more cost-effective, improving product delivery times across India.
Accenture will help redesign PUMA’s supply chain, focusing on speeding up dispatches and cutting down shipping costs. The project is expected to boost delivery speeds by up to 70% and reduce supply chain expenses by around 10%. Additionally, PUMA plans to double its express delivery capacity for online orders to meet rising customer demand.
Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director of PUMA India, stated that a faster, data-driven supply chain is key to meeting customer expectations. Accenture’s Saurabh Kumar Sahu highlighted the need for brands to adapt their supply chains for better speed and efficiency.
The partnership also includes sustainability measures, such as using solar power and installing EV charging stations at PUMA’s fulfillment centers. This move aligns with PUMA’s goals to lower carbon emissions while improving delivery operations across India.
