Noida: Jakson Group and OMC Power have partnered to implement a 50 MW solar rooftop project in Uttar Pradesh, with an estimated investment of ₹200 crore. The initiative aims to boost the state’s renewable energy capacity and reduce carbon emissions.
Key Objectives of the Project
The project will install solar rooftop systems across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, supporting the state’s energy transition goals. According to estimates, the initiative will cut 62,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, equivalent to planting 2.5 million trees.
Jakson Group will oversee the implementation of the systems, while OMC Power will focus on advancing solar adoption and local infrastructure development.
