New Delhi: WAISL Limited, a leading company in digital transformation services, has introduced an advanced digital twin-powered integrated Airport Operations Command Center (APOC) developed on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This solution aims to mitigate congestion, prevent delays, and optimize resource allocation. It will provide real-time updates to passengers on flight details, wait times, and baggage status while delivering actionable insights to airport operators, airlines, and ground personnel.

The APOC will go live at major Indian airports in the coming weeks and is expected to be deployed internationally in 2025. It will function as a central hub for real-time monitoring, coordination, and management of airport operations, covering critical processes such as check-in, security, traffic control, and aircraft movements. The solution integrates data from more than 40 systems, addressing more than 250 use cases, and tracking 100+ performance indicators. It will offer predictive and prescriptive analytics for resource planning and footfall management.

The solution utilizes AWS services, including Amazon SageMaker for predictive modeling, Amazon MSK for video data management, and Amazon EKS for workload distribution during peak periods. The initiative marks a major milestone in digital innovation within the aviation industry, promising transformative impacts for airports globally.
