New Delhi: Engineers India Ltd (EIL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various upcoming projects in the fields of offshore wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, and data centers. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director (C&MD), EIL; R.K. Tyagi, C&MD, POWERGRID, along with Directors and Senior Officials from both organizations.
This partnership aims to establish a strong framework for joint initiatives in energy transition projects, including tidal energy, rooftop solar, water and wastewater management, and other sustainable solutions. By leveraging their combined expertise, EIL and POWERGRID seek to contribute significantly to India’s clean energy and sustainability goals, aligning with the country’s broader mission to reduce carbon emissions and enhance renewable energy adoption.
The collaboration marks a strategic step toward accelerating India’s shift towards green energy solutions and promoting technological advancements in the renewable energy sector. Through this MoU, both companies will explore and develop innovative energy projects that support the nation’s vision of a sustainable and self-reliant energy future.
