Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh, is poised to become a global creative powerhouse with the launch of ‘Creator Land’, India’s first transmedia entertainment city. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on 4 May announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the ambitious project, which aims to create 25,000 jobs and attract investments worth Rs 10,000 crore over the next six years.
The announcement was made during the ongoing WAVES Summit in Mumbai, where the Andhra Pradesh government formalised the agreement to establish the mega facility.
Highlighting the initiative’s transformative potential, Naidu said the project is a significant leap towards positioning Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for digital innovation and creative industries.
Describing the development as a proud and historic moment for the state, the Chief Minister emphasised that Creator Land will serve as a platform for local talent to reach global audiences.
The project will span diverse sectors, including storytelling, filmmaking, gaming, music, virtual production, and AI-powered content, enabling the growth of a comprehensive creative ecosystem.
Backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure and global collaborations, Creator Land will also house the Creatorland Academy to equip youth with advanced skills in digital content creation.
CM Naidu expressed confidence that the initiative will not only draw substantial foreign direct investment but also turn Amaravati into a premier destination for innovation, employment and cultural advancement.
