New Delhi: In a major step towards transforming global education access for Indian students, BML Munjal University (BMU) has partnered with the University of California, San Diego (UC San Diego) to introduce joint academic programmes in future-focused fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, MedTech, and Entrepreneurship.
Learning Beyond Borders
The partnership aims to create well-rounded learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom education. Students at BMU will get the chance to take part in global classrooms, attend innovation boot camps in California, and work on joint research projects with UC San Diego.
Global Education, Right at Home
One of the biggest advantages for Indian students is access to an international-level education without having to go abroad. The collaboration will offer a range of programmes—from executive courses to postgraduate studies—designed to equip students with in-demand skills for a changing job market. All of this will be available on BMU’s campus.
Real-World Exposure
The tie-up will also include hands-on learning through internships, mentorship, and real-world training, making students job-ready for global careers.
Two-Way Collaboration
While BMU benefits from global exposure, UC San Diego sees this as a strategic entry into India’s growing research and innovation space. The partnership will also encourage faculty exchange and collaborative research on global issues like AI in healthcare and sustainable business.
