Gurugram: RITES Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NABARD Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (NABCONS), a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD, to jointly work on infrastructure and rural development projects in India and abroad.
As part of the agreement, NABCONS will bring its expertise in agriculture, rural development, natural resource management, and capacity building. RITES will leverage its experience in infrastructure planning, engineering, and execution, especially in transport, urban development, and sustainability.
The collaboration will focus on delivering integrated consultancy and project management services across rural and urban infrastructure, green mobility, agri-logistics, climate-resilient development, digital public infrastructure, smart cities, and multimodal transport. It also includes areas like water and irrigation, third-party inspections, and AI/IT-enabled services.
The partnership also seeks to explore international opportunities, particularly in projects funded by multilateral development banks and global agencies, aiming to scale their impact and reach in the infrastructure and development sector.
