New Delhi:  In a major bureaucratic reshuffle cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), IAS Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman has been appointed as Special Secretary to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena.
Lakshman, a 2016-batch officer of the Arunachal Pradesh–Goa–Mizoram–Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre, is currently serving as Commissioner in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). He has been overseeing infrastructure, planning, and urban development in the capital.
Over the years, Lakshman has worked in several key roles across the AGMUT cadre, which is known for its wide jurisdiction and complex administrative challenges. His new position at Raj Niwas is seen as a crucial assignment in Delhi’s governance structure.
As Special Secretary, he will support the Lieutenant Governor in coordinating with the Central Government, managing inter-departmental matters, and overseeing important administrative functions in the city.
