Mumbai: In a significant bureaucratic move, the Maharashtra government has promoted four senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 1995 batch to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS).Â
The list of promoted officers includes
- IAS Ashwini Bhide- Currently the Principal Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and Managing Director (MD) of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation.Â
- IAS K H Govinda Raj- Presently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Urban Development Department.
- IAS Vikaschandra Rastogi- Currently holding the post of Principal Secretary for Agriculture.
- IAS Radhika Rastogi- Presently the Principal Secretary in the Home Department (Appeals and Security).
All the officers will also continue in their respective roles post the promotion.Â
This move aims to recognize the leadership and administrative contributions of these experienced officers in key departments across the state.Â
