AI, cloud, and data form the core of VDart’s value proposition today. In an exclusive conversation Mohamed Irfan Peeran – CEO, VDart Digital explains to Bhavya Bagga, Business Reporter (Corporate & Leadership), CXO Media & APAC Media on how AI is the force multiplier, cloud provides speed and flexibility, and data provides the backbone.
As you assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, what strategic imperatives will guide your vision for VDart Digital’s next phase of growth?
Stepping into the CEO role, my north star is clear: scale with purpose. We are entering an inflection point where customer expectations, AI acceleration, and digital maturity are all converging and VDart Digital is uniquely positioned to lead at that intersection.
My focus will be on four strategic imperatives:
- Scale our capabilities globally—especially in cloud, AI, and data—while ensuring we deliver locally with relevance and speed.
- Deepen our customer relationships by embedding ourselves further upstream in their business transformation journeys.
- Strengthen our innovation culture, empowering teams to build solution accelerators, IP-led platforms, and outcome-driven partnerships.
- And above all, drive purposeful, sustainable growth—growth that benefits our customers, our people, and the communities we serve.
This next phase for VDart Digital is not just about expansion; it’s about delivering impact at scale with clarity and conviction.
During your tenure as Managing Director, you successfully expanded into key markets such as the UAE, Malaysia, and India. How will these geographies contribute to VDart Digital’s global delivery and growth strategy in the years ahead?
These geographies have been central to our evolution—not just as market opportunities, but as strategic delivery hubs.
- India is our innovation engine. With a deep bench of AI/GenAI engineers and platform builders, it’s where we’re scaling next-gen capabilities and solution prototypes.
- Malaysia plays a dual role—anchoring our presence in Southeast Asia and acting as a multilingual delivery center for global clients.
- The UAE is a critical growth market, especially for government and smart city initiatives. It’s where we’re deepening relationships and co-creating high-impact solutions aligned with national digital agendas.
Together, these regions form a globally distributed, always-on delivery model that enables VDart Digital to serve our clients with agility, scale, and cultural alignment.
VDart Digital’s portfolio now spans AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms. Which of these capabilities do you consider most critical in driving transformative outcomes for clients?
While each capability is important, AI, cloud, and data form the core of our value proposition today.
- AI is the force multiplier—it enables automation, personalization, and prediction at scale.
- Cloud provides the flexibility and speed our clients need to transform operations and modernize legacy environments.
- Data remains the backbone—without clean, connected, and context-rich data, AI and cloud initiatives stall.
But it’s not just about having these capabilities—it’s about how we stitch them together to deliver real-world, transformative business outcomes. That’s where VDart Digital shines.
The introduction of strategy consulting has been a significant diversification for VDart Digital. How does the firm’s approach in this area differentiate it from traditional consulting models?
Our approach to strategy consulting is outcome-first and execution-aligned. We’re not in the business of producing static PowerPoints—we co-create transformation roadmaps with execution in mind from day one.
What sets us apart is:
- Speed and agility—we bring lean, cross-functional teams that move faster than traditional consulting models.
- Platform-first thinking—we integrate strategy with AI, cloud, and data execution seamlessly.
- Partnership-led mindset—we embed ourselves in the client’s ecosystem, working shoulder to shoulder with stakeholders.
It’s this blend of strategy with delivery muscle that resonates with our clients, especially in environments where change must be both fast and sustainable.
You are widely recognized for fostering a customer-first mindset and a culture of innovation. What leadership principles do you prioritize to sustain high performance across global teams?
For me, leadership starts with clarity of purpose and consistency of intent.
I prioritize:
- Empowerment with accountability—I give teams the autonomy to innovate but hold us all responsible for outcomes.
- Transparency and trust—People give their best when they know where we’re going and why their work matters.
- Customer obsession—We don’t just serve customers; we champion their success. That mindset drives urgency and excellence across the board.
At the core, it’s about creating a culture where people feel heard, challenged, and valued—that’s how you build high-performing teams across time zones and talent pools.
Looking at the broader technology landscape, which emerging trends or disruptions do you anticipate will have the greatest impact on VDart Digital’s strategic direction?
Several key trends are reshaping the landscape, but three stand out for us:
- AI at the edge—We are seeing rapid evolution in GenAI applications that move beyond experimentation to enterprise-grade scale. This is already driving new demand patterns.
- Industry-specific cloud and data platforms—Clients are moving away from one-size-fits-all tech. Domain-aligned platforms that combine cloud, data, and AI will define the next wave.
- Cyber-resilient architectures—With growing complexity and threat vectors, trust and security are becoming strategic differentiators—not just compliance checkboxes.
We are aligning our roadmap to these shifts—investing in talent, accelerators, and strategic partnerships to stay ahead of the curve and help our clients do the same.
