New Delhi: Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on strengthening security infrastructure and driving digital transformation in the power sector.Â
The MoU exchange took place between Dr. Anesh Kumar Sharma, Director (Technical), ECIL, and S. Suresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, DVC. The document was formally signed by Cmde. Neeraj Uday, General Manager, HSS, ECIL, and Neeraj Jain, Senior General Manager (C&I), DVC, Kolkata.Â
This partnership aims to combine the expertise of both organizations to build modern security systems and digital solutions. The focus will be on adopting advanced technologies, simplifying internal processes, and improving the ease of doing business. The collaboration also includes knowledge sharing, capacity building, and training to improve operational readiness.
Key areas of work under the MoU include the deployment of new-age security technologies, digitization of workflows, and joint development of innovative digital platforms. Both ECIL and DVC see this partnership as a step toward increasing efficiency and resilience in critical operations. The initiative is expected to support national security goals while promoting technological growth in key sectors.
