Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has announced the transfers of three IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Nagarajan M has been appointed as the new Municipal Commissioner of the Surat Municipal Corporation.
Before this, he was serving as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC), Ahmedabad.
The other two transfers include
- IAS Shalini Agrawal, previously the Municipal Commissioner of the Surat Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and appointed as the Managing Director of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), Vadodara. She replaces IAS Jenu Devan, who had been holding the position on an additional charge. Devan has now been relieved of the extra responsibility following Agrawal’s posting.
- IAS Dr. Rajender Kumar has been assigned the additional responsibility of GSRTC following the transfer of Nagarajan M. He currently serves as the Commissioner of Transport, Gandhinagar, and has been given additional charge as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of GSRTC, Ahmedabad.Â
