Shimla: As part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government has transferred five IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Ashish Singhmar has been appointed the Chief Minister’s Secretary.
Alongside this role, Singhmar will also hold the additional charge of Secretary, 5 IAS Transfer (SAD); Secretary, Social Welfare Department (SWD); and Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs.
The list of other transfers includes
IAS Arindam Chaudhary, currently the Managing Director of HPMC, has been appointed as Director (Personnel and Finance) at HPSEBL.
IAS Vinay Singh, presently the Director of Agriculture, has been appointed as Managing Director of HPMC. He will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director, HP Agro Industries Corporation Limited, and Managing Director, Agro Industrial Packaging India Limited.
IAS Anurag Chandra Sharma, last serving as Director (Personnel and Finance) at the Electricity Board, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kullu.
IAS Torul S. Ravish, previously DC Kullu, has been given charge as the Managing Director of HP State Industrial Development Corporation. He will also hold an additional charge as Managing Director of General Industries Corporation, Shimla.
