Puducherry: With an aim to provide digital healthcare to the people of the Puducherry, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has launched the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).
JIPMER Director Ashok Badhe formally launched the mission and created his personal digital health identity card to mark the occasion. Puducherry Health Secretary T Arun, Mission Nodal Officer of Puducherry Anandalakshmi and National Health Authority representative Ganesh were also present during the launch function.
The NDHM aims at providing residents of the territory unique digital health identity cards and to set up a digital repository with complete health information of the residents.
