In a bid to bring transparency in Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMC) the Defence Secretary directed all AFMC hospitals to henceforth procure items on Rate Contract only through the rate contract module of eAushadhi app developed by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) , DGAFMS.
As per the directions given by the Defence Secretary in the meeting held on June 25, 2021, all AFMS units will place their supply order of rate contract drugs only through the SW eAushadhi after July 2021.
Instructions have been passed to the vendor that the bills for payment will be cleared at CDAs only if the supply order is placed through the SW e-Aushadhi and not to collect SOs otherwise.
