New Delhi: Amrendra Kishore Singh, an Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) officer, has been appointed the new Deputy Secretary (DS) in the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order which stated that he has been selected for the post for a period of four years, and will begin with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Singh was recommended by the Department of Defence Production for Central Deputation. According to the order by the DoPT, he has been relieved of his duties and will be assuming charge of the post at the Ministry of Heavy Industries, in Delhi, within three weeks from the date of issuing of the appointment letter.
