New Delhi: 11 Officers have been assigned new postings in a recent bureaucratic reshuffle in Government of India according to a new announcement by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet.
Here are the details:
1. Puneet Yadav, IAS (WB:1999), has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. He will serve in this role for an overall tenure of five years until September 21, 2025, or until further orders, by taking over the temporarily downgraded vacant post of Additional Secretary in the Department.
2. Manoj Sethi, ICAS (1993), will assume the position of Joint Secretary & FA in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. His tenure will extend for five years until February 4, 2025, or until further orders, following the temporary downgrading of the post from Additional Secretary level in the Department. He will be taking over this position from Sanjay Rastogi, IAS (OR:1991).
3. Vijay Nehra, IAS (GJ:2001), has been appointed as the Senior Directing Staff (CS) at the National Defence College (NDC) under the Ministry of Defence. He will serve in this capacity for five years or until further orders, succeeding Priyank Bharti, IAS (PB:2001).
4. Brijesh Pandey, IAS (TR:2004), is the new Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region. His tenure will last for five years or until further orders, replacing Saurabh Endley, IRSME (1990).
5. Vijay Ranjan Singh, IFS (KN:1996), will serve as the Chief Managing Director (CMD) of the Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd. (SPMCIL) under the Department of Economic Affairs. His tenure will span five years or until further orders, succeeding Tripti Patra Ghosh, ICAS (1994).
6. Manish Bhardwaj, IAS (GJ:1997), has been appointed as the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. His tenure will last for five years or until further orders, taking over from Rupinder Singh, IAS (MH:1996).
7. Sumita Singh, CSS, will assume the role of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Her tenure will last for five years or until further orders, filling an existing vacancy.
8. Vishal Chauhan, IAS (SK:1998), has been appointed as a Member (Admin) of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. His overall tenure will extend for five years until November 30, 2025, or until further orders.
9. Anandrao Vishnu Patil, IAS (TN:1998), will serve as the Joint Secretary of the Department of School Education & Literacy, filling an existing vacancy, for a tenure of five years or until further orders.
10. Beena M, IAS (KL:1999), has been appointed as the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) in the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) under the Ministry of Textiles. Her combined tenure will span seven years until October 3, 2025, or until further orders, succeeding Sanjay Rastogi, AS (OR:1991).
11. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, IAS (PB:2006), is the new Joint Secretary of the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation. His tenure will last for five years or until further orders, taking over from T Rajeshwari, ISS (1985).
