Bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand, 25 officers transferred, including 11 IAS officers

Dehradun: In a significant administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, the state government has announced the transfer and posting of 25 officers, including 11 IAS officers. The restructuring encompasses roles across various districts and government departments.

Chief Municipal Officers in several districts have witnessed changes, along with IAS officers being assigned the roles of Chief Development Officer and Additional Secretary in the Government.

The postings are as follows:

• 2017 batch IAS officer Manuj Goyal, who previously served as the Dehradun Municipal Corporation Commissioner, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary of Rural Development.
• IAS office Sandeep Tiwari, of the 2017 batch, has been removed from the position of Chief Development Officer (CDO) Nainital and will remain as the Managing Director of KMVN.
• IAS officer Varun Chaudhary, also from the 2017 batch, has been appointed the Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Haridwar, transitioning from his previous role as CDO of Pithoragarh.
• IAS officer Nandan Kumar, from the 2019 batch, has been assigned the role of CDO of Pithoragarh, transitioning from his position as Joint Magistrate, Mussoorie.
• IAS officer Abhinav Shah, from the 2019 batch, is now the CDO of Chamoli. He was previously serving as Joint Magistrate in Roorkee.
• 2020 batch IAS officer Dinesh Sashni, has been appointed as Joint Magistrate of Roorkee, transitioning from Deputy Collector in Pithoragarh.
• IAS officer Deepak Saini, also from the 2020 batch, is now the Joint Magistrate of Mussoorie, moving from his previous role as Deputy Collector of Chamoli.
• IAS officer Varuna Aggarwal, from the 2021 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Collector of Almora.
• IAS officer Anamika of the 2021 batch has been appointed the Deputy Collector of Pauri.
• IAS officer Ashish Kumar Mishra, also from the 2021 batch, has been posted as the Deputy Collector of Pithoragarh.
• PCS officer Ashok Kumar Pandey has been appointed as the CDO of Nainital.
• PCS officer Lalit Narayan Mishra, has been posted as the Director of Directorate of Urban Development, Dehradun.
• PCS officer Shyam Singh Rana, is now the Additional District Magistrate of Rudraprayag.
• PCS officer Veer Singh Budiyal, has been made the Additional Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation in Dehradun.
• PCS officer Anil Garbyal, has assumed the position of General Manager at Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
• PCS officer Dayanand Saraswati, has been appointed the General Manager of Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation.
• IAS officer Ashish Bhatgai has been relieved from the additional charge of Director Mandi Parishad Rudrapur.
• PCS officer Bhawan Singh Chalal, has been assigned the role of Director Mandi Parishad of Rudrapur.
• PCS officer Rajkumar Pandey has been posted as the Deputy Collector of Chamoli.
• PCS officer Ravindra Kumar has been appointed as the Deputy Collector of Haridwar.
• PCS officer Anil Shukla, has been posted as the Deputy Collector of Rudraprayag.
• PCS officer Smita Parmar, is now the Deputy Secretary of Uttarakhand Information Commission.

This restructuring is expected to bring about further changes in district officer positions, with another list expected to be released soon.
