New Delhi: IRS officer Rahul Navin has been promoted to the rank and pay of Additional Secretary as the Special Director of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED). Navin, an IRS-IT officer of the 1993 batch, has been serving as the Special Director and acting Director of the ED since September 15, 2023, following the conclusion of the tenure of the previous director, IRS officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra.
The promotion of Navin to the Additional Secretary grade was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
