Mumbai: Merck, a Germany-based science and technology company, has named Dhananjay Singh as the Managing Director for its Life Science division in India, starting from April 1, 2024. Singh has previously served as the Head of Science & Lab Solutions Commercial for India, and has worked with Merck for the past 26 years.
As the MD, Singh will lead Merck’s Life Science strategy in India and focus on governance, compliance, and collaboration across Merck’s businesses.
Expecting to further Merck’s vision of “India for India and India for the Globe,” Singh highlighted the importance of collaborating with both customers and stakeholders, as well as Merck’s commitment to supporting government initiatives such as “Make in India.”
