Bengaluru: Infosys, an Indian IT services company, and Intel, a semiconductor company, have collaborated to help global businesses advance with artificial intelligence (AI). They recently announced they’re expanding their partnership to speed up AI adoption for enterprises.
The partnership will use advanced AI solutions to improve cost-effectiveness and performance while focusing on responsible AI practices. Infosys Topaz, which offers a range of AI-centric services, solutions, and platforms through generative AI technologies, will be a key part of this collaboration.
In the newly enhanced partnership, Infosys will use Intel’s hardware and software solutions, including Intel Xeon processors and Intel Gaudi accelerators, in its Topaz framework. This will enable customers to incorporate generative AI into their operations while following evolving AI standards.
Balakrishna D R, Executive Vice President and Global Services Head for AI and Industry Verticals at Infosys, said, “The Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions seamlessly complement Intel’s core stack and its ‘AI Everywhere’ strategy. By combining our strengths, we are helping enterprises on their journey to become AI-first and accelerate business value with our industry-leading AI solutions.”
Christoph Schell, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Intel Corporation, said, “We believe our collaboration with Infosys and local ISVs is a huge opportunity for us to develop software and tools which can help drive Intel-based technology adoption and reduce the overall TCO for our customers.”
